The Problem

When accomplishing a task, it is often easy to see two things, the starting point and the finish line, but the in-betweens are often illusive and hard to figure out, be it for a project, learning or a simple task.

The Solution

I developed "Trace," a full-stack web application that uses React Flow and Gemini to infer the in-betweens of different such plans/projects and elucidate the path from where you are to where you want to go.

My Role & Responsibilities

As the sole full-stack developer on this project, I was responsible for the end-to-end development of the application. My responsibilities included designing and implementing the front-end user interface with React, creating the interactive node-based visualization with React Flow, and integrating the Gemini API to generate the project roadmaps. On the back-end, I built a server to manage API requests and ensure seamless communication between the client and the large language model.

The Outcome/Impact

"Trace" successfully provides a clear, actionable roadmap for any goal, transforming abstract ideas into concrete steps. The tool's ability to visualize the path from start to finish empowers users to tackle complex projects with confidence and clarity, significantly reducing the initial friction and stress often associated with beginning new endeavors.
